Practice and qualifying went awesome today, the Bergenholtz Racing Mazda Rx8 R3 was dialed in all day with the new Nitto NT05 tires.  Qualifying went awesome and we landed the number 1 qualifying spot with a 96.8 score.  The best score of my career and one of the top qualifying scores of the season.  This sets us up for a great run at the podium tomorrow.  Hope to see everyone there, I can't wait to get back on the track tomorrow!

So the time has finally come...  irwindale rd. 7 is here..  testing went well today, and the car is working really good.  I'm looking forward to qualifying tomorrow and the round of 32.  i feel really good about this weekend and am focusing on podium finish.  although this is only the 4th event in the car, i feel like this weekend will be a breakout event for the BR Mazda Rx8.  We're on a new size Nitto NT05 tire which makes the car handle quite a bit better than the size we were running previously.  I can't wait for tomorrow and saturday.  See you guys out there!!

Thanks to Mike and the guys at Mishimoto.com for the support on the verTruck project.  They're adding a new radiator, fan shroud, intercooler, oilcoolers, p/s cooler, and high pressure radiator cap to the project.  Soon the new engine will be in from AZ Rotary Rockets, and fitment/fabrication will continue on the project.
