It's been a while... new sponsor for 2010... HotLine's been blowin up!!
So a lot has happened since I last updated things here... Here's a rundown of the happenings..
So after things didn't work out with the Bergenholtz camp I started pursuing my own program for the 2010 FD season... Just as things were starting to come together I get a call from JBrad at Falken corporate asking me to come down for an interview to drive the Teal and Blue Falken Ford Mustang. After having a great meeting with Andrew, Nick and JBrad they offered me the position. I do have to say that I'm a tiny bit sad that I won't be campaigning the green FC this year, but I'm EXTREMELY excited to be driving the ASD prepped Falken Ford Racing 2010 Mustang. It's definitely going to be some big shoes to fill, since JR has set some pretty high standards for the car, but I'm very much looking forward to the challenge and can't wait to get behind the wheel to see what I can do in that thing!! Here's the video release of the announcement...
With the help of Team Falken and the support of Ian and all the guys at ASD Motorsports (www.asdmotorsports.com) I'm sure i'll have all the tools to be successful this season. I'd also like to thank JR for putting in a good word for me with the Falken guys which helped me get this great opportunity.
Alright, so u can obviously tell I'm super stoked on the Falken deal... who wouldn't be... but a ton of stuff has been going on since I last updated here...
Hot Line has been crazy busy, we're currently back logged for over a month... I guess that's a good thing.. or at least I'm not complaining... haha..
It's been busy enough that I decided to hire some help... after receiving an email from Ryan Clemans (TMF Opposition) I was blown away about his motivation to work at HotLine and his quality of work. After checking out his website and seeing his attention to detail I decided to give him a shot at working here... well needless to say I'm really glad I did. He's exceeded my expectations and he's doing a great job..
Here's some of the work we've been jamming out...
my street vert FC getting a roll bar... just need to finish the TII swap now and get this thing back on the road.
John's (Oilcover) FC getting a spindle mod, coilover mod, diff mount, clutch and DTTS elim kit..
Kent Jordan's Caterham 7 getting a new wind screen..

Lex King's FC getting some socal love... Full cage, spindle mod, coilover mod, Haltech E8, Hot Line Fully built S5 TII engine with FD internals, gutted dash and new center council plate..

Billy's 87 911 getting a full cage, strut tower reinforcements, crossmember gussets and some tin work on the rear firewall..

Front strut bar ties back into the main cage...

X door bars...

A and B pillars are welded into the A and B pillars...

new seat rails

Door bars fit ultra tight..

Rear firewall tin work... had to cut the stock metal to get to the rear suspension components, so we made this
aluminum panel to cover things up..

Shot from the rear engine bay.. you can see the strut tower reinforcements and crossmember gussets..

so that's about it for now... gotta get back on the rest of the stuff here... I'll post up soon about the new projects that just came in...
thanks for check in!
